Drain downward and guides out stagnation: for constipation due to heat accumulation in the intestine. Treatment of constipation: in a clinic series of 100 cases, granule of SENNA ALEXANDRINA dissolved in warm water were very effective in treating post – partum constipation.
 GLYCYRRHIZA URALENSIS: sweet, neutral, warm.
Action & Indications:
Tonifies the spleen and augments the qi, commonly used for spleen deficiency with shortness of breath, lassitude, and loose stools.
